In 2010, Nate graduated from the UNC School of Journalism and immediately left the newsroom for a local bank. After several years of banking experience, he recognized that CIMG offers clients unmatched service and pricing, and he joined the Robby Oakes Mortgage Team in 2015.

As the Robby Oakes Mortgage Team's senior loan officer, Nate has navigated thousands of clients through the home purchase and refinance process throughout his 13-year tenure in the mortgage industry. Nate and his wife, Melissa, live in Chapel Hill and have two children. When he’s not sitting at his desk or on his phone, Nate enjoys running, reading obscenely long novel series, yard work, and pretending to have good taste in wine.
